Wet areas like bathrooms are the most preferred areas of dampness due to regular usage of water. Condensation and water seepage are the most common causes of blocked moisture in bathrooms. Lack of exposure to sunlight and air makes such places more dampness prone.
There is a misapprehension that there will be no dampness issues if the floor and walls of the bathrooms are properly tiled. In the absence of expert waterproofing, water seeps through the construction joints and grout joints giving rise to damp patches.

Siegelt offers a variety of joint sealing tape (JST) or Coving Tape suitable for wet areas like bathrooms. These tapes overcome the disadvantages of cemented angle fillets and provide full coverage from water leakage.
